Best Western Inn & Suites Rutland-Killington

A perfect mid-way point in the state that can help with long weekend exploring. A really well-appointed hotel that is not far from anything you could need in Rutland.

Nothing, everything was great!

This location is the best we have stayed at over the 50+ years we have visited VT. The personnel are fast, delightful, and very responsive to your needs. The operation is well managed, the rooms are very nice, and they put on a great breakfast. The location is central to many places like Killington mountain, Burlington, Manchester, and Newport.

Had a great stay at the BW Rutland, it is such a wonderful spot near both Pico and Killington, especially this time of year with all the vibrant colors. The staff was exceptional, in addition to the cleanliness of the guest room, first rate. I look forward to my next visit in the near future!

Don’t stay here. The counter had two piles of food residue, one sticky (like leftover candy), the other like clumped up dried food. The TV stand had another pile of residue food on it which had to be cleaned. The trashcan still had trash items inside of it. The bathtub had a pubic hair in it. The dust on top of the radio and computer appliances was so thick you could collect it on your fingers. This one is minor, but the window to view the outside had not been cleaned in weeks if not in months, so the view was spotted with dirt. In my opinion, your health is at risk if you stay in this place.

The free breakfast buffet was really bad.

Great overnight stay. Hotel and room was clean. The front desk attendant Stephen went above and beyond — professional, friendly, and eager to help, even offering thoughtful recommendations for scenic spots in the area. Travis in security was attentive and proactive, quickly notifying me when my car trunk was open. I didn’t expect much for breakfast, but it was a pleasant surprise with juices, toast, bagels, granola, and even make-your-own waffles. The property is also pet friendly with a large grass area to walk your dog, well-equipped with poop bags. Convenient and easy drive to Kent Pond, Quechee Gorge and Woodstock. You’ll see historic covered bridges like Taftsville along the way!
