"Overpriced for what it is"

In case of beautiful weather, view should be awesome.

Basic Equipment. Basic construction. We stayed during windy and rainy day. Lots of wind and rain coming in the room through the windows.

"Exceptional"

Stayed there for one night, as a transition hotel on our 8 day Madeira tour. Had chosen this place, because it is very near to the PR9 hike. As it was only a night, I didn't have any high expectations. This truly was a PERFECT stay! We had the room with ocean view and a balcony - lovely and all great! The hot tub (accessible for all) is open 24/7. Had it for ourselves at late night. Before check in you also already get that perfect Instagram Santana picture with the famous houses! ;-) Since we arrived late, we were more than happy to eat at their restaurant, which thankfully we did! Amazing food and such sweet service! It's a small team and I forgot the name of the young guy, who helps at check-in + also at the restaurant. BIG COMPLIMENT to him - very helpful, answered all questions and we felt very taken care of! Parking is also included! Almost sad we were only there for a night! If you planning to stay in or around Santana - look no further than this lovely property!!

"Totally sufficient for everything that is needed."

Having a jacuzzi was definitely the best part of my visit.

The breakfast could have had a bit more of selection.

"Fabulous views and great location"

The hot tubs were incredible after a day of hiking, the views were gorgeous, the location was ideal for plenty of hikes, the bed was really comfortable, and the free parking was great.

The shower was small and had a curtain that blocked the drain, and there was no shelf in there to put your toiletries while showering. The hallway got quite noisy with people coming and going, it echoed a lot due to the tiled floors

"Excellent stay, outstanding service and views"

Very friendly staff, nice touches in room, excellent restaurant food.

Would have been nice to have tea/coffee in the room, breakfast could have been better (was not replenished very well). Better signage to the receoption, parking and pool areas
