Americas Best Value Inn and Suites St. Cloud

I got what I paid for - not much more than a room with an ok bed. Air conditioner ran constantly - no way to control it. Curtain did not close fully; I had to use some clips to hold it closed. No breakfast available.

No toilet paper, no hangars in the closet, pool wasn't working, nowhere to go take a walk, wake up call was late

It was an okay stay, it was not a hotel id go back too

Cheap hotel that is bad shape. Toilet seat loose, tv not working, ice machine not working. Doors to outside, some jammed and others left open. Asked staff to fix television and no one ever did come up to look at it. Overall just a really run down facility and no one will make any effort to help. Cheap bed and a shower. That’s it.

Very convenient

Pool closed indefinitely. Rooms were disgustingly gross. Burn holes in blankets. No breakfast just some bad coffee. Ice machines not working. Area was sketchy. Unknown things happening in the parking lot. No security, no staff just the guy working at the front desk. Seems nice should not be left unattended. Was supposed to get a one night refund and nothing we stayed may 9 and 10th but left may 9th and went to a different hotel.

I’ve always had a good experience staying in this hotel chain - quality comfortable room that is pet friendly for relatively cheap. Never had an issue. I was super disappointed this time to say the least. Checking in there was a 30 dollar fee for having two dogs which is fine, I figure pet fees go toward extensive cleaning which I’m good with. I got to the room and the bed was missing pillows, had dirty towels stained with makeup on them, mirror was sprayed with a previous tenants spit, and a stench that closely describes a Glade wall plug in scent of cigarettes and dog poop. The smell was so intense like someone had just blown smoke from a cigarette into my face, but glancing at the wall it made sense. The yellow coloring that walls take on from excessive smoking was there, but was dripping down the wall. Literal yellow drippage. I took my shoes off and touched my foot to the ground and immediately put the shoes back on. The ground had that oily nasty feeling under your feet like if dog urine isn’t washed out of carpets & it just sits there. The AC in the room did not work, which was fine because I didn’t want to sleep under the blankets because with the state of the room I could see, I didn’t want to cover myself in things I can’t. I slept in my robe and a personal blanket I brought along, and it was still a terrible nights sleep because the bed was uncomfortable. Ultimately I should have spent an extra 20 dollars on a clean room that was comfortable to sleep in.

We did not feel safe here. The peep hole was broken and people could look in your room. The curtain didn't close. Chipped furniture and rusty curtain rods and chair trim. Torn chair. Brown crimpled paper on the 3 large windows by the office. The outside door to the parking lot didn't lock and it was 10:30 at night and the person from the hotel said it didn't lock all the time. Not up to Expedia standards.
