Palazzo Salomone

Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel, the decor, the restaurant, the staff, everything was exceptional.

Very spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom also spacious with a large waterfall shower. Helpful staff and the Sky TV is a plus if you are relaxing in the room at any point. Location is at the southern end of Ortigia in a nice, quiet back street. Can’t comment on the restaurant as we didn’t try it for breakfast or dinner.

The location was great. The restaurant magnificent. The chairs could have been more comfortable.

Beautiful modern hotel and beautiful room on 2 floors (sitting room/bathroom downstairs and bedroom upstairs). Great amenities. Only detracting factors are that the room was a bit dark (the hotel is in a narrow alley), and that the bathroom on a different floor than the bedroom is a bit inconvenient at night. The hotel is quite difficult to reach by car (Google maps will send you to an alley where it is impossible to turn or maneuver), so it is best to leave the car in the nearby Piazza Federico di Svevia and arrange for a very convenient valet with the hotel.

Great location. Boutique feeling

Valet only works 7-11 so if you have a morning flight, need to move the car to a garage the night before and walk to go get it first thing in the morning (not ideal)
