Taormina Apartment with Panoramic View

The view is breathtaking. The apartment is spacious. Check-in was easy and problem-free.The location is great, 5 minutes walk from the center.

The apartment is advertised as having three bedrooms. Two are fine, but the third one has no window, it is advertised as having two single beds, but one is a pull-out bed, which is extremely misleading. The third bedroom is quite uncomfortable, dark and very small.

Some repairs are needed in the house. The shower from the ensuite bedroom is broken and doesn't hold, and the light switch was off the wall hanging with electrical cables showing, not the safest.

There was No coffee at the apartment, and we had only a very small espresso coffee pot for 4 people There was no dishwasher pods to use. Very little dish soap left for us to use. It was difficult to figure out how to turn lights on, use stove, turn heat on, get hot water for showers. Instructions need to be left around the apartment for international travelers who are not familiar with this type of heating and electricity. We also had to pay 20euros per day for parking.

Very nice and spacious apartment with a splendid terrace. Located 7 minutes' walk from the store and easy access to the City center. Ornella was a wonderful host and helped us with instructions, recommendations and a warm welcome. Unfortunately we only stayed 2 days, I would have liked to stay longer. Would definitely book it again!

Excellent communication, responsive host with various questions, perfect location, with views of Mount Etna and the sea. The property was large and reasonably furnished. Air conditioning was working well. Although the Uber driver could not find the location, the property was easy to locate for us. Town centre and grocery store within minutes. Felt very safe. Had clothes drying facility. Great verandah, quiet neighbourhood.

It may be the norm in Sicily, however it was a tad inconvenient that we had to get our own shower gel, hand wash and shampoo after arriving in Taormina as this was not highlighted initially.The washing machine did not work, the clothes would either come out soaked or half untouched or with residual washing powder. The electric power was by inserting a key in a socket (the key could not be removed from rest of the bunch), consequently every time you left the house we had to recalibrate the TV.
