Best Western Plus Loveland Inn

I can't believe there's any good reviews for this place. First, it's in a crappy location. Dirty looking place where the odor in the room was so strong I was almost forced to leave the hotel. I would have but didn't have any other place to go. The scent was that overwhelming smell to cover nasty things. You know what I'm talking about. But, and most important, this place needs to hire employees that understand English. They butchered my payment so poorly. I couldn't communicate with the front at all. They billed a credit card (Mastercard) that I don't have and is not mine. I have no idea who will pay for that. I don't even possess a Mastercard though the front desk insisted I did. Wrong. They did bill my AMEX (correctly) for a $7.80 fee for some tax. Don't ask me why my AMEX was working fine for that but not for the room. When I called to discuss, first I spoke to someone with terrible English. I ended up leaving a message and asked for a return call. That was 12 days ago. No call. I then contact today and was told the same thing as before "I'm sorry, she's in a meeting now and not available." She never is. This was a company expense which goes through Concur. Anyone familiar with that knows what I'm talking about. Dishonest people who can't answer any questions because they can hardly understand English. Coincidentally, when I was working that day my customers asked where I was staying. When I told them the response was "oh no! You couldn't have picked a worse place to stay." When I asked why, they referenced drug dealers and hookers and lots of police activity. One thing for sure, I won't be staying here ever again. Staying at Hiltons and Marriott is not over-rated.

The courtyard was beautiful and calming, such a lovely place to sit and enjoy after a busy day! So much better than being surrounded by only concrete and parking lots with no ability to enjoy being outside for a few minutes.

I liked breakfast; We didn't like the confusing drive in entrance; we almost missed it because the first appearance of it was that we were going into the gas station and the second problem the entrance is coming off of a entrance ramp to the freeway.

No one there knows what they are doing! They charged my bank account several times and we had to speak to the owner and manager about all the charges. They kept making up excuses about it being bc we booked through a 3rd party (hotel app)yet I have booked hotels through them for years and have NEVER had an issue. They would not give me a receipt bc again, I “booked through a 3rd party”. Yet, I have always received a receipt at other hotels. They were rude and unapologetic. The hotel itself was dated and we could hear (literally word for word) the TV in the adjacent room. We will never stay here again!
