Villa Chingo

Nothing. We hoped to have a view but the view became more annoying than anything else. We rather became free strippers for the neighbours time to time... Be prepared for: - a painful SAUNA experience - NOT much PRIVACY - NOISE from neighbours - BAD WIFI - MESSY bathroom. Details given in the cons...

We DISLIKED being there... -WIFI was unreliable -We were welcome by an angry hornet at midnight so we could not open the window of the balcony. -No curtains. Only pieces of transparent curtains here and there. -No air-con while being under the roof. Not even a fan. The walls are made of windows. If it is sunny, you will just die there! -No shampoo, even after asking for it -One soap for both the sink and the shower -No shower curtain. Be prepared to have your bathroom flooded the entire stay. -No window curtain in the bathroom. Be prepared to poop right in front of your partner on top of taking a shower the same way. -The space between the sink and the cabinet is too small, so you won't be able to reach the sink. Meaning? Bump your head and spread your cut hairs everywhere while shaving... -Not enough parking spots. I had to block to other cars to park mine. -Walls are toooo thin. We can hear the neighbours breathing and their kids yelling in the morning... -The house is under construction. You will find material here and there. The "shared" (?) hair-dryer was on a step on stairs. -Communication was cheap. No "hello". To my message, we received "Park the car in the yard". Great.. It was obvious that this room was just intended to make money. The owner relies on his "view" and neglect anything else. He was too cheap to buy curtains, and the curtains we had were not even of the size of the window. Meaning? Salvaging some fabric to make curtains. Same for shampoo, we asked for it but the only answer was about payment.

Our room was spacious and very clean. We had big balcony with great view on the lake. Staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful.

The view from the room was incredible! Lovely balcony. Private, so you don't have people watching you. There is a kitchen to use. It's quiet being uphill from the road. The road on the coast is very loud.

There's no fan and no Aircon. We asked for a fan and he said we shouldn't need it..it was 38 degrees C in the room.far too hot. The owner had air-conditioning in his private apartment but said we couldn't even have a fan. There's a lot of insects that come in when you open the window as there's no flynet. So really it's just too uncomfortable to stay there. There is also no wifi there. The owner also tried to add extra money to the bill. Good job I checked the booking. My advice to owner: give people a fan. It's cheap and will keep people cooler.
