The location was great for English Bay side of town. The room was clean and tidy.

It’s very untidy from the outside and the foyer wasn’t much better and very out of date. Everything was quite basic and dated. The staff - which we only ever saw when we came and went - were friendly enough tho seemed kinda distracted.

The simple things like a working coffee maker. Our fancy nespresso was crap. Failed the first day. I informed the front desk. The next morning the same thing. These cafe units are garbage had to go out for coffee. Breakfast in the restaurant was average with not enough non egg or vegan variety. This is not a reflection on the staff. I feel that they were doing their best.

Updated new room and amenities. Great shower. Location was perfect. Right by Stanley Park, restaurants, Starbucks, grocery, and a bar and comedy club below the hotel!! Safe neighborhood. Staff were so attentive and helpful.

Ice machine on our floor wasn't working or empty, but no worries, went to other floor to get ice.
