Best Western Plus Grant Creek Inn

I was really blown away by this hotel, less by the property although that was fine, but the employees are some of the best I've encountered. And I have traveled a lot. When I went into my dog friendly room, there was a heavy smell of animal, and because I'm allergic (my dog is hypoallergenic), I was less concerned about the smell and more concerned that I might get an asthma attack in the middle of the night. They didn't have many other rooms to choose from, but Eva went out of her way to make sure they had something that worked for me. I didn't yell or make a fuss, but just told them I couldn't stay in that room. I was all set to go to a different hotel as these things sometimes happen, and Eva took it upon herself to get me into a room that was perfect. I have rarely seen someone go to this extent to help a guest especially in our current day. This service is akin to a five-star hotel. Thanks for making my night, and helping me out with an uncomfortable situation! Whatever you guys are doing to motivate, inspire and encourage your employees to care for people, it's working. Lastly, I don't know if this is the Best Western standard, but I really liked that I had access to netflix, Amazon video, YouTube and other channels. I don't watch Network TV, so I actually used the television at your hotel.

Excellent experience from reserving a room to checking out and everything in between. Clean, comfortable, and even though it was very full, it was quiet. I am a very light sleeper and I was never woken up by anyone. I also appreciate the welcome to dogs. There is a nice trail behind the hotel where you can give your dog a nice little walk.
