Outside seating and the look of the place

The hotel is beautiful, the bar areas are very nice, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely would stay again

Lovely hotel just on the edge of the city centre. Lovely rooms and great public areas and garden. Did not have an evening meal but breakfast was good.

The hotel could have had better advanced communication with guests about the vintage car rally that used a good proportion of the car park. Returned on second day of our stay to find the car park coned off without any explanation. A sign or mentioning when checking in would have been helpful.

Weird staff, there was a strange attitude from several staff, they werent rude but an ambivalence to being helpful was apparent

Beautiful hotel. Lovely room, exceptionally clean and comfortable bed. Lack of air conditioning wasn’t an issue as a large fan was available and did the job. Staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent. Great location and beautiful grounds. Short walk into Ripon and a lovely canal walk.
