A good room; clean and with a comfortable bed. The rooms (at least on the second floor) have been redecorated/ refurbished and are good quality. Breakfast was good.

The lift clearly has a problem; it is too slow and doesn't always go to the floor that you selected. The room was hot. We did stay during the heatwave and a fan was provided but there was no aircon as there was on the ground floor.

Friendly reception .

Very expensive for what was on offer . Waken up at 8 am by cleaner . Unusually hot weather and no air-conditioning of course meant very hot night
