I like that the property is small and connected to a restaurant!

I didn’t like how the all the areas around the door handles were dirty, stains on the ceiling

The amenities were rusty and broken. The lamps were rusty. The bed frame was very old and made noise when you moved the exterior stairways are full of cobwebs and there are marks and chains in the walls in the bathroom and the showers.

The front desk and breakfast staff were exceptional. Very respectful and friendly.

“Picture it”…Do you know how long ago that sitcom came out? Probably the same day the carpet and caulking in the bathtub overflow drain was installed. The room smelled awful. The carpet was damp. The room smelled like moldy moisture. My eyes burned the whole night, so I know there is mold because I react just that way to it. German roaches on the bedside table. I played whack- a-roach with tv remote and a shoe. I cleaned the remote. While playing whack-a-roach, commentary from male adult in family beside us was a colorful array of 4 letter words and yelling so awful to kids and woman.Yes, We almost called for help. This is the first time I took only what I needed inside my room. I used a trash bag for everything I took inside to separate from my clean belongings. Bugs so used to people-they’ve been there a while. While sitting in the bathroom a blob of black fuzz fell down onto my leg-it was from around the can light in the ceiling. The bulb was there but the extra housing was either gone or lost a game of you or me with the black moldy fuzzy stuff that took its place. While washing my hands I happened to notice something squished on the wall near the towel rack. I thought it was a bug that had previously been whacked, Naw, it was just a big ole booger. Don’t sit down on that seat at the door when you walk in. It’s a decent looking brown leather one. But it looked like the cushion was upside down as the seat area was black, dirty, ripped fabric of some sort. I wondered if it was just flipped, and decided to play home decor 123. Nope, it didn’t matter which side you had up, both sides were the same black nasty smelly fabric. And don’t get me started on the beer bottle tops and trash under the seat cushion…yall I am itching all over! Just like I did all night there! I have the heebie jeebies all over again. Just do not do it!! I’m gonna be some kind of upset if I take new family members home with me!! It’s all in a trash bad tied up WELL!

Bed comforter and towels were not clean. Stains were showing.

What made us laugh was the bed. You sat upon it, and it made a deep groan from the metal base. Hysterical! At the price point of the hotel, not surprising. The hotel is a great place to rest your head for an evening, and has a decent restaurant on premises. But the pool was not kept up as good as it could be, it needed cleaning. The room furniture had wear and tear, but was serviceable. Overall, acceptable for an overnight stay.
