Quality Inn South Boston - Danville East

The location of the hotel was fine. The location of the handicap room sucked. The shower was nice but the bathroom was small. No room for adaptive equipment. The food was so so. Check-in staff friendly.

The curtains in the room were very old style and didn't close all the way. I had to use the door lock and a hair clip to get darkness. You could see shadows of people walking by ALL night long. Lots of noises. Far away from the handicap parking space.

This place needs to be totally rebuilt. Totally rundown.

The waffles as well as the sausage and gravy biscuits are tasty, and breakfast bar was clean. Room was clean and neat, and very much appreciate the mattress liner on the bed. Tv had plenty of channels.

The room was a non-smoking room but smelled VERY strongly of 'wet ashtray', as well as the main lobby. There was also a strong bathroom or septic type of odor near the main lobby, quite unpleasant when going to the breakfast cafeteria. I recommend bringing some febreeze for your stay.

Staff was really nice. I also ate at the restaurant and the lady who was my server was really nice, food was fine.

For a two star hotel, it met my expectations-there was nothing bad that stood out, in fact it was probably above what I might have expected.

I liked the location and that it had a restaurant attached to it.

Had mold in bathroom and the iron didn't work that good it kept leaking water and turning off.

The beds felt like they were lumpy concrete that made noise every time you got in and out of it. The toilet was broken and felt like it was going to fall apart whenever I got off of it.
