"Felt very much like an old coaching inn, with modern facilities where appropriate."

Rooms were spotless; proprietor was very friendly. Breakfasts were brilliant. Dinners were based on locally produced seasonal food.

For us, there were no downsides.

A fantastic welcome from Frau ? , we were unsure of our exact eta as it depended on traffic ,roadworks and the weather. We had an excellent dinner and a very comfortable night's sleep
