Best Western Plus InnTowner Madison

Convenient for us

The room smelled like smelly feet. The fan on the wall unit didnt work. The fridge barely got cold even on high. We also requested a room with a tub and the staff let us know that when we book through a 3rd party it cannot be guaranteed. So, we didn't get a room with a tub for personal care for our adult son. We have stayed at the Inntowner many years in the past and have never had a room that smelled as if it hadn't been cleaned. Maybe the carpet needs cleaming.

The breakfast exceeded my expectation. It offered many choices and was eggs were tasty and warm.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus to undergo outpatient surgery at the UW Madison hospital. The staff were extraordinarily accommodating. Clearly they know many of their guests are there for medical purposes, and so they are not surprised by unusual requests, like extra wash cloths.

If I had to quibble, I think they could do better with their coffee. It wasn't terrible. But a real solid cup would've put an exclamation point on the morning.

The shuttle was really convenient for around town. I wish it went to the airport too!

The room smelled a bit musty, like maybe it was a smoking room back in the day. Breakfast was so so

Hotel staff were accomidating, free shuttle service was prompt, room was nice, beds were comfortable, shower was pretty with nice scented shampoos, conditioner and body soap, quality big screen TV with Netflix options, etc, the free breakfast in the restaurant area was nice and plentiful, and the pool and jacuzzi were relaxing and perfect temps.

Location

Very noisy but worst of all I had to rush to get on a plane after my flight was cancelled to catch an earlier flight and left my charging cable. I called and emailed them within 12 hours but no one bothered even responding.
