"Be Aware - Hotel is Open during major ReDo. (12/25)"

Good location; UW-campus adjacent. Easy walk to Fieldhouse & Camp Randall for sporting events. Did not sample breakfast options.

Hotel is currently (12/25) undergoing massive update; entire floors are being re-done, including 1st floor; meaning it must be negotiated to reach temporary Front Desk and elevators, also Pool/Spa - which was open, thankfully. There was NOTHING ON BOOKING.com to indicate this was occurring. Lobby was in flux; entry was around back; rather confusing. A heads-up from this sight would've been nice.

Staff were friendly and professional. Good signage during major renovations. Beautiful room with brilliant white bedspread.

No direction ahead of time regarding the renovations. Lots of noise heard outside of room. Room is a bit cramped, but we were only there for one night, so it worked ok for us. The refrigerator didn’t work. We didn’t realize it until we were leaving and our cold items were no longer cold.

"Great location, staff, and facility."

Location, location, location. I was one of those who stayed there because of its proximity to the university of Wisconsin hospital. I have a few more appointments coming up, and I will be staying there again. It looks a little rough around the edges at the moment, because they are doing some updates and renovations. But that’s just a momentary decline in appearances. Very nice staff, good facility, pretty decent food in the restaurant.

The property was close enough to dining and the capitol. The jaccuzi was a nice option.

The sheets were really scratchy and the pillows were very clumpy. Not a very comfortable nights sleep. The amount paid was way more than the value of the stay for one night. The breakfast started too late and we were not able t able to have any.

"Good location for a short stay in Madison on the west side"

The property was in a good location down from the University of Wisconsin. We went for a UW football game and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a shuttle to the game. Worked out perfectly.

The property was clean but a bit outdated facility.
