Redwood Valley B & B

Maria was very friendly and served a super breakfast in the open plan kitchen diner lounge - all sitting around one large table which was very sociable.

Wasn't too obvious where the door was when we arrived

Was made to feel very relaxed, Will and Maria are great hosts who go far and beyond to make it a great stay. The breakfast was so yummy and the property is next level comfortable.

I loved staying at Maria and Wills, the semi rural location suited me well but still only short drive to Nelson City and Mapua wharf. The breakfast was next level!

The breakfast was exceptional. Woke up to the aroma of coffee and baking. Freshly baked breads, yogurt, fruit and berries from the garden, freshly squeezed juices, cereals, quiches were served at breakfast. Plentiful and delicious. We arrived very early (10 am) in the morning and were allowed to check in. One of the rooms was ready and was available immediately, the other was ready in less than half hour. While we were waiting, we ate some fruit from the breakfast bar and drank some very good cappuccino and toured the house. Maria is an interior decorator and has done a fantastic job with the decorations. Comfy bed, beautiful and clean bathrooms, everything is high end and tastefully furnished with high quality toiletries. Guests can use the huge farmhouse style kitchen to make dinner if they so choose or heat up if eating there. Laundry is also available for use. Hands down, the best place we stayed in New Zealand,

Peaceful and quiet, lovely surroundings

Will and Maria were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond. The rooms and the garden are so nice and the breakfast is out of this world!
