Macquarie Barracks Motor Inn

The room was updated and looked very clean. Bathroom was a little dated. We had a small dog with us and she liked having the small lawn area at the rear of the premises for sniffing etc. Location was a little out of town but we had our car to get around.

Nothing really. It is a basic motel which has been updated and perfectly satisfactory for us.

The factory we could have our pet stay with us

We were told we had a park view. Shower was full of dog hair. Would have preferred actual cutlery in the room instead of disposable utensils. Biscuits were stale. We’re unable to cast to the tv.

After 12 years of using this app, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had from the booking process right through to check-out the next day.

The receptionist was extremely rude and hung up on me. The room allocated was not the one I paid for, it was a lower standard room that was damp and humid. The air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no one available at the facility to assist when I contacted them about the issue. On top of that, the outside lights were not working, which made the experience even worse.

Location and cleanliness

We always stay here when in Port Macquarie and have done for over 10years. Location is great for us, Rooms are spacious and clean.

Very disappointed this time as when I booked in requested a ground floor room due to a broken foot that has not healed properly. Email received confirming ground floor room. On arrival at approximately 3pm we were told there were no ground floor rooms & that the person who sent the email was no longer there. No effort to assist or apology given. Customer service was poor.

Fan in bathroom ran like an engine, main curtain dirty. Milk in fridge frozen, arm chair needed a good clean

Everything was very clean and well maintained and I could park right outside my room. The area was good with nearby food outlets etc
