"Great stay 🙂"

9.0

Room was lovely, very clean and thoughtfully stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits and other little touches that made our stay feel really welcoming. The staff and food were excepcional. Lovely location with gorgeous outside area.

The low ceiling on one side gave mu husband a couple of surprise bumps. Didn't bother me at all, but he might disagree! 😀

"Great hotel."

8.0

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was one of our best hotels of the week when hiking the SWCP. It's a really good sized room, and we appreciated the nostalgia of having a dvd player in the room with DVDs you could rent. Room was clean and comfortable. We made use of the beer garden on a hot day.

Check in could have been smoother and easier. We had had an extremely long day of hiking and were very tired, with giant bags on our back. The staff made it difficult to check in - with one requiring us to constantly move our bags back and forth whilst he kept going past us (understandably he had somewhere to be). We then had to fill out the longest form despite having already given all of these details on booking.com, with no option to even put our hiking bags down. Out of all of our check ins, this was the longest and staff were the least helpful. Check in very much felt like the Rowan Atkinson scene in Love Actually, only after a day Heddon's Mouth and Great Hangman on the South West Coastal Path. I also really disliked that they have carpet in the bathroom around the toilet.

"A welcoming overnight stay with delicious breakfast"

9.0

Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Lovely town and beach area. Perfect place to spend a night!

The room was warm probably perfect during the winter months but luckily we brought a fan so stayed cool!

Traditional pub and B&B, friendly staff, good breakfast and evening meal, easy parking, lovely garden area.

Need to add a table or something to put luggage on in the room.

"Adequate but needs a little TLC"

7.0

The property is a little walk out of Combe Martin. The room was spacious with an extra single bed. The room decor and bathroom could do with a little TLC. Had dinner in the evening which was OK but the restaurant was quite empty. The breakfast choices were good.

The property could do with a little updating and TLC.

"Fabulous as usual!"

9.0

Breakfast is amazing, plenty of choice for cooked options, also cereals, toast, yoghurts etc to help yourself to. Lovely location, perfect for an event we were attending. Gorgeous outside areas - the courtyard is very quaint. Easy access to shops and Combe Martin by foot. Good facilities in the spacious room, coffee/tea etc and toiletries provided.

Would prefer a firmer mattress - but that is personal choice.
