Best Western Gateway to the Keys

The room was clean. The lady at the front was amazing and helpful. There's a restaurant that we just walked to for dinner next door. Everything I needed for a quick trip.

Staff was very nice and room was clean.

The hotel poured concrete outside of our window at 6 am and refused to provide a partial refund on our stay. They said it was a "delivery" not "construction." Their "delivery" woke us up at 6 am. I asked for a partial refund at check-out. They gave me the contact information for the asst. general manager. I called and left a message. I followed up with an email a couple of days later. Still no response. I called today and they refused to do a refund because the concrete was a "delivery" not "construction." They offered me 15% in Best Western points which are worth about $21. The owner and managment are rude and dismissive of how their actions affect their guest's stay. Why on earth would a hotel agree to have concrete delivered and poured at 6 am outside of their guests rooms?

Nice stay, no issues. Looks like a brand new hotel. The room was clean and very well-kept. I would recommend this hotel. 24 hour free complimentary coffee.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

Did not like that they charge $30 to check in early. Understand that it is each hotels policy, but the hotel was not busy. Rooms were mildewy and AC did not stay cool. They do not have pens in the rooms anymore.duringbbreakfast time the door to breakfast from pool area was locked making it inconvenient to walk all the way around the building from our room to get inside for breakfast.

Staff was professional. Excellent free breakfast. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Clean room and towels. The only thing they gave too little shampoo and soap. We need more soap for a family of 4 people.

Having other guests try to enter our room while we were it it was startling to say the least.
