The staff was very hospitable, friendly, well organized and very professional. This property is a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city life, very peaceful and serene. This location is tucked away from the highway and it has a beach view. Rooms are clean and huge (two floors) I only had one tv upstairs though. Ann , Arna, Maria and Reymar made the experience very memorable... No issues renting a motorcycle; staff were very informative on where we could go and the best places to visit. It made my visit to Siquijor a very positive and enjoyable one.

The location was right on the water and was away from others resorts/accomodations amongst the homes of locals. There was a small convenience stand nearby for snacks and other items and a really yummy hostel cafe just up the road. There are few rooms (bungalow type) at this property so it felt very private. The room we reserved had plenty of space for the 3 of us and the beds were situated to allow privacy for all. There was a 5 gallon water bottle directly outside or door which was convenient for filling up and staying hydrated. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast each day was good. The two folks staying with me arrived early at 6am the day of check in due to their travel plans and they allowed them to check in early and get some rest after traveling all night. Very kind.

I got zapped by electricity by touching the side of the water dispenser outside our room. Should have a warning. There was a crack in the floor of the tub which resulted in water spilling out on the bathroom floor any time we took a shower. Hot water didn't last long enough for 1 shower let alone 3 people in a row. Due to the rural area you've got to be ok with roosters crowing nightly and be comfortable walking down a long path that is not at all lit at night to get from the convenience store or cafe to the resort. No beach at the property although there was a ladder to get down into the water and swim.

The staff were exceptional - they made our stay so comfortable! They helped us organise transfers, rent mopeds and they were so accommodating at breakfast! The room was spacious, the air conditioning was good and the place was very clean.

There was construction work next door which started at 6am the Monday morning we stayed there. You also need a moped to get around from this location but it is handy to have anyways as the island is quite spaced out.

Big room infront of the pool. The room is spotless and they have hot and cold drinking water free for each room. The room is spacious and has two tables - one for.food at the balcony, one working station near two power outlets. The beds were also very comfy and separate from each other so that we get some privacy from the kids. Sunset can be seen beautifully in this resort. The restaurant food is world class in taste and variety.

The restaurant - they told me everything is single serve. When the food came, it's shareable for at least 2 people and we're big eaters. So the food just went to waste since there's no fridge in the room. Power interruption in the island is often but short. They have generator though. The power shift is a pain when you're working. The place is not easily accessible when you want to go get a massage at night. It's so remote, there are no motorcycles or tricycle at night.

Staff are very accomodating. Room rates are reasonable. Place is secured and safe as there is a security guard roaming the property every night.

Early morning (6am) music boombox from the locals next door. Water pressure on the 2nd floor was quite low. Could as well put up a barbecue facility near the pantry/common kitchen.

we are at the bottom of a dead end and we discover a place where time has stood still... the staff is charming and takes great care to ensure that your stay goes well... I recommend thebluelife
