"Restored faith in hotel management"

Staff, ice cold air conditioning and lobby. After a horrible experience at another hotel I called them to see if they had availability last minute. They welcomed us with open arms and settled our tired family in for the weekend perfectly.

Nothing. Phenomenal!

"Clean hotel and practical"

Great location, modern, well looked after hotel

The breakfast is very poor. Quality is very basic and tasteless, We decided to walk across to the royal leonardo for breakfast.

I loved taht the staff was so knowledgeble about managing us to get us to the cruise, as we had never been in Southampton beore. The staff had our room all ready upon arrival.

"Wouldn’t stay again"

Staff were rude. Our room had 0 air con, when we complained about it over he phone at midnight a lady bought a fan out, fair enough, but to keep us cool during the hottest day of the year, a little fan didn’t work what so ever. The thermostat said 28 degrees in our room. We were absolutely cooking after a long night of drinking too. We had a man then come banging on the door for 20 minutes until we answered at 8:30am, asking if it had fixed itself over night. When we complained to reception about this, the man had 0 remorse, didn’t have 1 care in the world, didn’t even ask us how our stay was . We bought it up and we got a careless sorry and on your way kind of thing. Wouldn’t stay here again for £140.
