Waldhotel Eisenberg

The beds are comfortable, the hotel is very close to forest, quiet and clean.

There is no kettle in the room, breakfast is very poor value for the money. Some staff members in the breakfast room are very unfriendly, depends who is in service. We stayed there around 5-6 times since there were no rooms available in other hotels. They do not refill breakfast towards the end of service, last 30-45 min. Once the eggs are out, they are out 😅 I will never understand how some hotels just let you eat the left overs when you come half an hour before the end of service. I paid for the same breakfast and the 10am closing time is there for a reason.

Staff were most friendly and helpful!

Two items: 1) Noisy groups while we were trying to enjoy dinner. Couldn't wait to leave! 2) CNN was available on the TV, but no reception. We were told that it would be fixed, but no luck.

The room was clean, modern, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly. Nice outdoor seating areas.

I chose this hotel for the sauna, but it was not open until the afternoon and closing again early, making it inconvenient if not impossible to use. The employee at breakfast was rude to me- when I asked to view the breakfast layout before buying, she told me no. So I asked to just get a coffee and she pointed at the front desk and told me to pay first and come back only after paying in an angry voice. I also found the room price much higher than the regional cost of the area.
