Eagle Bay House

Eagle Bay House really was the ideal holiday haven, tucked away in the bush with water views and wildlife in the evenings, super friendly staff (Matt and Olida), the biggest bed I've ever slept in, and a really convenient kitchen with breakfast staples every morning. It's also great that it wasn't too big, or too many people. It was exactly the romantic retreat we were hoping for.

The only thing that I didn't like was the flies, and there's nothing you can do about that, haha. Honestly, I couldn't fault the place or the experience.

Lots of hot drink choices. Lots of fresh sliced bread. Nice yoghurt. Natural surrounds and kangaroos. Some ancient Grass Trees. Quiet. The house sits high on the land and receives the breeze. Beautiful sunrise. Communal kitchen has clever access from corridor from room or externally from room.

2 BBQs but only one working. OK as we only needed one. BBQ not so clean and took a long time to heat up.

A warm welcome from our hosts and a delightful array of Christmas treats - thank you. Comfortable and spacious room and bathroom, communal kitchen well stocked and easy self serve breakfasts. Loved the kangaroos and the peace and serenity of the bush.

Wonderful location in a peaceful area with wildlife. It was amazing to see kangaroos up so close. The hosts Olida and Matt were really welcoming and went over and beyond to help us when we needed. The room itself is of high quality and looks new. We would have loved to stay longer if we had more time.

The location was beautiful, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere! The room was so comfy & had everything we needed. Great for a couple to use as a base to explore the surrounding area.

There wasn't really anything we disliked from our stay.
