Hotel Puerto Sayulita

The staff are lovely, the location is excellent. We had a rear facing room on level 3 overlooking Sayulita. They let us drop our bags off around 11:30 before check in and actually let us in our room a little earlier than the check in time chick is never an expectation. So thank you to the front deals lady for that. The pool up top is an excellent place to relax and they have ambient music playing in the background which creates a nice vibe. You can turn this off too if you wish (hint hint, connect through Spotify) my one fault though is that there is 1 or 2 dogs that bark sporadically though the night which is super annoying, this also wakes up a rooster and it’ll be 2am when you hear it. I suspect they are the dogs down the road at Pakeke coffee shop. These dogs bark at everyone and everything going up and down their little dirt road and you’ll hear it if you’re a light sleeper. Someone needs to put these dogs inside. No fault of the property of course but you’ll hear it if you’re a light sleeper.

The locations is very convenient, 10 min walking distance from the center and beach. Easy to find. It’s clean and the rooms are in a very good condition. It’s has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

No chair in the room you can sit on and no breakfast offered otherwise it was nice stay

Room was comfortable and clean… always plenty of clean towels including beach towels… rooftop pool was amazing and the staff was freindly and helpful… we had a great time

I have stayed at a wide range of hotels, from the most humble hostels to the four seasons. Of all the places I’ve stayed, Abigail is one of the kindest people I have met. She handle every question and concern we had with grace and a smile. For the hotel itself, the rooms are spacious & clean and beds are comfortable. There’s a lovely rooftop pool with an infinity pool. There is no service at the bar so consider bringing drinks yourself. There are hammocks downstairs for you to enjoy and importantly, this hotel is located right next to the train station and you can take it to/from the airport (55 pesos, ~$2.50 USD) running every 10-20 mins it’s air conditioned and it also takes you to San Pancho (27 pesos, $1.75 USD) every 15 mins. Definitely take advantage of it because the taxis are ridiculous (900 pesos for the airport and 300 pesos to San Pancho) run less frequently and take way too long.

Amazing beds! At the top of my list for most comfortable bedding. AC was too-notch as well. 5 stars for the rooms. There was no pool bar as advertised nor information about when there might be. However, the pool itself is lovely. The staff is very nice but aloof. You won't get a big welcome with lots of information but I'm ok with that. They were efficient. Location is great since it's near the one bank in Sayulita, and OXXO next door plus a liquor store. Nice to not be in the middle of downtown.

The hotel is on Main Street and it is noisy. Also a little far from sayulita downtown and limited dining.

Close enough & far enough from everything

The hotel is very nice and clean, and Jonathan was an amazing host. We were there during a hurricane and Jonathan came knocking and got us another room that had electricity, he was always making sure we were good and had everything we needed. My room had kitchen which was useful, I made coffee every morning and used the fridge every day. Bathroom very clean as well, I never ran out of towels or anything. Bathrooms at the pool are also very clean. The staff cleans the whole common area in the morning. The roof top common area is so amazing to have, great pool, view and comfy couches. I would go back, I just would ask for a room on the other side because the street view room gets noisy in the morning and night with buses and cars going to work.
