Hotel Puerto Sayulita

Over all a very nice and clean hotel. The only down side is, it is in front of the Main Street to town. So there’s constantly loud noises.

Hotel is nice with friendly staff and a gorgeous roof deck pool area that is very well maintained. The location is fine (5 minutes to be into the heart of Sayulita's restaurants, shops & bars), but the units on the road side (which is the majority of the units) are a bit loud. The guests next to us were Extremely loud for all 3 nights we were there, and it was disappointing the hotel didn't take a more active role in controlling their poor behavior. Safe in room didn't work & beeped periodically all night & day, adding to the overall feel of too much noise. The room we booked was to have a couch / seating area, but instead we had a 2nd bed - which was an ok place to store our suitcases, but we lacked a good place to sit comfortably. Some units have a table & chairs on the balcony - ours had a hammock, which just wasn't useful. I would stay again, but only if I could be assured of a unit on the back of the hotel with a comfortable seating area both in the room and on the small balcony.

A lovely place with incredibly lovely staff. It’s also centrally located but safely outside the central “noise” zone.

I double booked the first night at this place, because of a Snafu with another booking via Hotels.com where the hotel claimed to not have my booking, so in the crazy New Year's Eve mess, I booked two spots for the same night. Arriving the following day, to be told I was a no show the day before. The receptionist was really understanding when I explained what had happened, it really was my own doing. they waived penalties. Other reception staff were really lovely too. Only drawback, half of the hotel faces the main road, it is super noisy all night long with traffic noise. I was also on the ground floor, so between the noise and security risk of having the sliding door open for fresh air it wasn't actually a restful stay. I don't want to sleep in a sealed air-conned room. Natural ventilation please! I ended up opening the door, and stacking furniture up against the gap, to hamper any intruders. So aim for a room on the 2nd floor or facing the other side. Close to town, very easy walk and away from the club/music noise.

Pool and lounging areas were very nice, beds were super comfortable and the full opening patio wall to the balcony was a really nice feature. We were there for Christmas and with how busy the town was the location was quiet.

Loved everything about this hotel except the noise from the street. It was clean and new and the staff were amazing!! The rooftop pool was beautiful along with the sitting area up there. The hotel was next to the bus depot and has underground parking (parking is limited in Sayulita)!! The street noise is the only reason it didn’t get an excellent review. The buses, motorcycles and car noise was crazy at all times of the day and night. I would absolutely recommend this hotel unless you are a light sleeper. Maybe ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Great price!

Well maintained

Nice little hotel. The pool area was really nice. Sayulita is really a magical town.
