De ligging, op loopafstand van het centrum. Fijne parkeerplek bij het hotel. Fantastisch ontbijt, zowel Engels als continentaal. Heerlijk zitje achter het hotel, waar het gezien de warmte erg fijn zitten was.

The staff were very friendly and there were good shared relaxing spaces downstairs. The link to Hadrisn's wall was a bonus.

The room was too hot, even with the fan provided and the bathroom too small. The fire slarm went off on two consecutive nights - at 4 s.m. the first time.

The breakfast was lovely, and breakfast staff very helpful, Location is great

Poor welcome from receptionist, topped with extra £20 charge for a45 minute early book in, Receptionist at night not helpful at all asked for a table for dinner, went away and left us for over half an hour and did not come back to us, NOT HAPPY...!!! The restaurant was not overly busy at all, and only one waitress seeing to everyone's orders,
