Location, Size of Room. Price was amazing.

Its a big old hotel, its exactly how expected. It was very warm. Managed to open a window for air.

We only live 40 minutes away, but were working in Southport the following day, so decided to stay overnight to save driving in busy traffic the next morning. The room was clean and really comfortable. Outside there is scaffolding as work is being done, it does look run down outside, but don't let that put you off. Inside is lovely. Young lady on reception checked us im. She was lovely, friendly and extremely good at her job. My husband asked for an extra pillow, and within minutes one was brought straight to our room. Breakfast was really nice and great choices.

Neighbour next door made noise for hours in the night and threats of final warnings from staff did not materialise into any consequences .as a result I hardly slept the whole night

"Lovely old building"

Very quiet. Huge old place we had a good nose around. It seems to be having money spent on it and the room was very large and clean. Bathroom was huge and the beds were comfortable. We had a hairdryer,iron and a fan which came in handy. Will be staying again.

Had no complaints.
