Dionysos Luxury Hotel Mykonos

I was nervous about booking the Dionysos Hotel, due to reading mixed reviews on trip advisor. I needn't have been worried though, it was a great hotel, offering us everything we wanted, good location, modern hotel (not too big, not too small in size), very clean, great breakfast selection and friendly staff, more than willing to help us with any questions or needs. I would recommend this hotel to all and anyone. We had a fantastic holiday and Dionysos certainly helped to make it so.

This is a nice, pleasant hotel. The girl at the lobby was quite friendly when we walked in, and the hotel itself is in good condition. The bathroom was really clean and the room was clean too, with a really nice terrace. The buildings are really cute, whitewashed with dashes of colors and bright wildflowers around. The pool was nice but we didn't use it, since the beach was literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel. The beach, Ornos, is really nice and calm though the water is cold, even when it's hot out. Mykonos town is not so close to walk to, but we didn't have any problems since a taxi there would cost us around 5 euro. There is a bus stop at the beach but we waited for two hours and it never came, so don't rely too much on it. There are super nice restaurants on the beach though, so at night you can definitely visit one of them. I definitely recommend Kuzina, and maybe reserve beforehand so you can get a table on the sand and really close to the water. The atmosphere there was great, super sophisticated. Also Ithaki is really interesting since it serves mexican, thai, italian and other cuisine! Breakfast was included and it was a standard, continental breakfast...the breakfast lady was really nice! We had a good stay at this hotel. I agree with one of the reviews below that the tap water was salty, but surely it's salty everywhere on the island and it's really not a problem at all. This hotel is a good place to stay in Mykonos, and it's not as expensive as other hotels!

Hotel was great and in a very good area, only 5 min drive from downtown a one minute walk to the beach which was very convenient. The nearby shops and restaurants were very handy. Hotel staff were far beyond excellent as they met all our needs and were happy to answer all our questions.

The hotel was very good!!! The staff was very frindly. It was very clean.The location is perfect to all famous beach. Close to Chora. Prefer this hotel without hesitate!!!!

lovely hotel in Ornos, easy to find, lots of nice(if pricey places to eat close by) the hotel was very quiet , beautifully maintained rooms bright , nice comfortable beds, clean bathroom would certainly return to stay in the same hotel on my next trip to mykonos

Turned up at 2am due to earlier ferry, smooth check-in. Upgraded to premium renovated room with balcony out to the pool. Large room, clean facilities, helpful and professional owners/staff. Very close to the beach. Nothing new on the breakfast menu but decent quality. Stayed at some highly rated hotels on Mykonos, this compares very favourably with them at a fraction of the price and a room double the size.

I traveled to Mykonos for a special vacation with my sister. Our goal was to relax and enjoy the Greek beaches, people, and food. The Dionysos was perfect for this! Situated in a quieter part of Mykonos, this is the perfect place to go to relax on the beaches and enjoy some of the great Greek restaurants on the island. Ornos Beach was a 1-minute walk from the hotel, along with several excellent restaurants right on the beach. With beach chairs and service, it made for perfectly relaxing days in the sun. There are also boats from this beach that will take you to beaches all over the island for a small fee. Also, Ornos is located 2 kilometers from the main port on Mykonos, an easy walk to the shopping and restaurants there. In addition to the great location, we fell in love with the hotel manager, Nikos. We had questions for him every day that he was always happy to answer, he was very friendly, and very helpful. His staff was always responsive and friendly. Nikos set up an excursion for us to the island of Delos where we had an excellent tour guide to lead us through the ancient city. The amenities at the hotel were also great--they have a nice workout room at the back of the hotel, their pool is wonderful, and the wireless internet was included in our room fee. A delicious breakfast was served poolside every morning with eggs, sausage, bruschetta, breads, pastries, yogurt, honey, olives, coffees, etc. If I return to Mykonos, I'm definitely staying at the Dionysos. We had a wonderful time and wished we could have stayed longer!!

The hotel is traditional and very quaint. The staff is very friendly and helpful which made the whole experience that much better. Bathrooms are a bit small and the rooms aren't anything fancy, but that's the traditional way. All rooms had a balcony/terrace, a small tv, hair dryer and hot water. The entire hotel was very clean had a small pool and is a 10 minute walk to center of Thira. Breakfast consisted of hardboiled eggs, coffee, OJ, bread, jams, butter, pound cake, ham and cheese. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. If you're looking for a budget hotel and don't expect anything fancy, I would suggest this hotel.

Good location if you want to get away from MyKonos town. Its 100m from Ornos Beach though and that is very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions and things to do. Room was old but clean, well maintained and comfortable (bed was too firm for our liking though). Back rooms butt right up against an apartment complex, which feels pretty strange. Although we did not use the pool and patio area they looked very comfortable and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was great.

Located very close to Orno beach, 15-mins bus ride to Hora, town centre of Mykonos, is a very ideal choice if enjoy quiet stay and beach of breeze. To me, I enjoyed my stay so much there.
