"Expensive hotel, not sure it was worth the extra money that we paid compared to all the others we have stayed in on our"

9.0

Its location, the hotel entrance gives a great first impression, nicely furnished and good size bar and restaurant area. Particular shout out to Linda, the lady on reception, she was extremely helpful when we asked her help in printing an urgent document for us.

We were in room 302, The bathroom floor creaked when you walked in, not helpful if your partner is sleeping, it was loud enough to wake you. The tv was impossible to use, not sure if it was a faulty remote or faulty tv, but it took forever to turn on, then we couldn’t get rid of the ‘settings’ view when it did come on, you couldn’t change channel. The buttons on the tv didn’t have any effect. We didn’t ask for help on reception as it was late and we only wanted it for the last half of football before we went to sleep.

"Nice stay right next to harbour"

9.0

Spacious room, friendly staff, restaurant on site, and parking. Close to attractions and the harbour

A minor hassle but an odd decision to place a very small sink (the bathroom is spacious, could use a bigger sink) directly below the mirror shelf, making it not very usable

"Expensive stay with regard to the room provided."

7.0

It was in a great location for the town and ferry. There was good parking and good food and bar.

It was expensive, particularly as the room was very small. We had dogs and were constantly tripping over them. Also the room was on the second floor as far from the entrance as possible. It was hard to carry bags and dog beds that far into the hotel without any lift or assistance. Particularly as one of us had recently had a shoulder operation so couldn’t carry much. The staff were pleasant but didn’t offer any assistance.

"Loved the central location just too pricey."

Loved the central location. Kettle not emptied and not the coffee machine. To say it was central I find it too pricey.

Central location.
