Britannia Hotel Newcastle Airport

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar area cheerful, clean, quick service and good prices! Clean rooms, fridge in room. Firm beds which is my preference.

Decor and rooms are quite dated.

The only thing keeping this place running is the location.

It is poorly maintained, floors were dirty and dusty, no air conditioning which didn't help as we stayed during the heat wave, there was a tiny fan which barely provided a gust of wind, windows barely opened to allow any ventilation, toilet felt grimy, hair dryer was covered in dirt and other people's make up Would not recommend at all, only reason we stayed was for an early flight, but we regretted paying for the hotel and would have rather slept at our house and paid for a taxi early in the morning to come to the airport–would have been much more comfortable!

Quite impressed to be honest. Really welcoming and staff were really helpful. Clean and tidy room.

The first room i was places in on the bottom floor was very old out dated bathroom was full of mould floor was sunken to about an inch under the skirting board I then complained and got moved.

How convenient it was.

There is not enough chicken on the garllic chicken pizza. 6 tiny tiny pieces if we were lucky, for price ot £17.
