Colonial Lodge Motel

We were given an upgrade to a larger quieter unit at the back of property which was nice. It had been renovated. It was very clean and fresh. For the price, I think it’s good value.

The playground area needs a bit of a tidy up, but as we didn’t have kids it was not an issue for us. The unit didn’t have an air conditioner, but it wasn’t necessarily needed by us.

Strong Location, reasonable price, very friendly staff. It was a raining cold day, the staff allowed us to have an early check in, and the next day provided luggage storage for a few hours after checking out, which was really helpful for us.

Location was good. Quiet accommodation. Plenty items in kitchen. Comfy sofa. and bed.

Long way from town but I should have checked prior to booking. Fabulous we could bring the dog as we were on transit to our holiday spot down south. Our room was great, but right next to the main highway so we didn't get a great sleep to the heavy truck traffic. The kids beds were good but ours was a bit too soft for us. The parking was awesome as we had two spaces outside the room ( boat & car ). The owner was very pleasant and helpful. If you could stay a bit further from the main road it would be great!
