Quality Inn Carthage

This was a very convenient location. The room was nice and clean. The attendant at the desk was very nice and helpful. Her name was Amber.

We had to go to the desk to ask for reg coffee for the room. The attendant was somewhat grumpy. It seemed like she didn't want to be there, but it could have because everything was out of order. The ice machine on the 1st floor was out of order. The coffee machine in the lobby restaurant was out of order. The refrigerator with eggs, yogurt, and butter was out of order.

Great hotel

The facilities were ok. The room was acceptable for the area. The bathroom smelled musty. The pool was closed due to the over abundance of rain in the area. The breakfast was ok, we had to have them refill the waffle mix and bacon.

Our stay at Quality Inn was great! The only issues was that our electricity was out due to a storm. Everything else was great!

NOTHING!!!

The room I was sold and hadn't even been cleaned yet! When I went to the front desk about it the lady was rude and started hollering at me and my wife. That's when we walked out and will never go back. By the way booking.com owes me a refund immediately for the charge for a room I am not even staying in! I have sent a complaint and request for the refund.

Location was good and front desk clerk was exceptional. There was quite the chemical smell in our room which was newly remodeled with paint and new carpet.

Carpet was heavily stained. Chairs were stained. TV had a colorful line running from side to side.

The manager was very professional, informative and straightforward.

When we arrived at our room it smelled like smoke although it was a non smoking room. My mother entered the bathroom and their was a roach or water bug on the wall. I went to report these issues to the lady at the front desk. She informed me that she would have to enter the room to inspect herself. Once she arrived in the room she treated us as if we were lying to her even after she saw the insect for herself. She did offer us another room but we totally dissatisfied with the hotel because of the previous issues and the room did not look at all like it was advertised. I asked that the charges not be put on my card since we had only been at the hotel for about 30 or 40 minutes before deciding to check out. Then the front clerk began to argue with me about how long we had been there. Then she called her manager and told me that they could not refund my money for that day but I wouldn't be charged for the next day The manager arrived and explained to me that I would have to be refunded for my day of arrival through booking.com and they couldn't provide me with any receipt for my time of checking in and out. The charge for both dates is now on my credit card even though we left about 45 minutes upon arrival. For what I can see this hotel is a hit and miss. My mother and I left and had a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn across the street. Best wishes if you choose to stay at the Quality Inn. I hope that your experience is better than ours.

I loved the size of the room, the breakfast and the quietness.

When we were putting our things in the truck, mind you the door was cracked and the cleaning person saw us walking back/forth. So she pushes the door open knowing we're in there and says oh I'm sorry then closes the door. Also there were stains on the sheets but they didn't see them until the next day.

The accommodations were what you’d expect for the price but the employees were amazing and went above and beyond. I could speak well of them enough!
