Quality Inn Lewisport

The hotel smelled like a dirty gym locker room. My room smelled horrible. Not like smoke. It smelled like bad body odor. I had ozium spray so i was able to rid myself of the smell. The second floor had obvious leaks and buckets and ceilings messed up. When i inquired if the pool would be open this summer they said no. That a pipe had bust. Surely they have insurance to cover such costs. I predict this will not be a quality inn much longer under its current conditions. Quality inn needs to do an emergency inspection of this property. If i was not forced to stay here because of convience to my parents home. I would not. I am still co sidering sraying somewhere else in the future.

The room appeared to be great, first reaction. After we got settled and went to bed, the window started leaking. We put a towel under it to help absorb. Quite frankly, we didn’t want to get dressed to move rooms. In the morning I noticed mold on the caulking in the shower. The paint job looked amateur. The threshold was missing tile and you could feel/see the gravel. There were spots of mold on the shower curtain. When we checked out I asked for a discount due to those findings. I was told no. Once the account is settled he can’t do any discounts. The account wasn’t settled because we hadn’t gotten the receipt and he didn’t know the room number. He offered a discount on another nights stay and I assured him we would not be back.

Room 211 was missing the smoke detector.

Very clean, nice bed and linens, good facilities. Personable employees.

Absolutely beautiful scenery, good value for our money, easy parking and very quiet. However, the pool was not in use and was green and the breakfast ran out of food if you got there any later than 8: they didn’t replenish anything. Had to go get food on our last day because they didn’t replenish anything.

Solid three stars from us—what you’d expect for a Quality Inn. The hotel was full for a fishing tournament but it was quiet. The coffee makers in the rooms need help, but they’re passable. My kids loved the pancakes for breakfast! The worst part of the room was the strong bleach/chemical smell in the bathroom that did not dissipate for the two nights we were there. Not a huge problem, but in Ron Burgundy’s words, “…stings the nostrils.” The biggest bummer for us was that the pool was closed and in disrepair. Full of mossy green water. I’m guessing it was in that state because of travel shutdowns in 2020, but we chose this hotel for the pool. There was no notification that it was closed.

Very basic. No updates done. No A/C on second floor

Spending $120 a night for a hotel with a pool that was out of service, flickering lights, smelly rooms and smelly hallways was very disappointing. I'd expect this from an Econolodge, not a Quality Inn.

The property and room appeared clean and well maintained, but no elevator to make getting luggage upstairs very easy. Lighting was very dim in the room which gave my wife fits trying to get her hair and makeup done. Overall, ok place to stay, but would request ground floor next vist

Everyone in staff was super friendly. Me and my group enjoyed the breakfast! Would totally want to stay again!
