Super 8 by Wyndham Kansas City Airport North

Close to venue I was spending time at. Check in was quick & easy.

Floor felt slanted. Bathroom was poorly done and very small. Bed was super hard.

Location to airport.

Took quite a while for the shuttle to arrive at the airport. Much longer than stated which to begin with was 45 minutes. It was more than an hour. Took a long time at the front desk before I was able to get to my room. The door bolt lock did not work, but there was a metal “flap” lock that was odd. When I went to check out on the 4th day, no one was there. No “we’ll be back soon” sign. I just stood there waiting for over ten minutes while my Uber driver to take me to the airport also had to wait. My card key did not work when I opened the door; I had called to extend my check out time by an hour, and had to wait again at the front desk for about ten minutes because no one was there. While trying to check out, front desk person was on the phone for so long my Uber driver, a different one, also had to wait. It was stressful and bizarre. Seems very short-staffed there. While the desk person also has to drive the shuttle, pick up the housekeepers at a different location etc, there is often no one in charge actually on site. I also did not get reimbursed for a $35.00 “hold” for which I still have no idea what it was for.

The bathroom door would not close the door know was all loose a lot of the floor boards we're loose they need to be replaced or fixed.

Bed was comfortable and clean

Room smelled somewhat, and shower was small!

Location to the airport. Shuttle to the airport. I liked that we could pay to leave our car on property cheaper than paying to park at the airport.
