Comfort Inn & Suites Sombrero

Stayed here a couple of times in the past 2 months. First time we had a family room which was a good size, seperate bedroom with a decent size bathroom. Continental breakfast included. Second stay was upgrade to a single story family apartment. Very spacious with big family and bed rooms, also massive bathroom that included a full laundry. Was very disappointed not to get the continental breakfast with this more expensive room. Rooms are pretty good, but starting to look a bit run down. Cracks in wall, bad bathroom tiles and carpets are filthy and could use cleaning or replacement. Location is good with a shopping centre and pub across the road. Pretty central to most things, on the main entrance road into Adelaide.

The booking was made late in the evening and upon arrival we had to call to speak with manger for key They have no staff on after 7pm and did not have a room available.The manager was lovely and drove to hotel to sort out the room situation and was rather surprised that this had occured.Km not certain the room we where given was in use regularly as it seemed rushed and not all it usual amenities where available

Very happy with location, room very quiet , security blinds on windows, so good , everything clean , bed comfy and continental breakfast was a bonus . Reception had drinks for sale , great idea , and local restaurants just in walking distance.

I stayed during April 2022. Location is great, close to everything. Nice service from the lady at the front desk, was very understanding. But the rooms need desperate updating! The rooms upstairs were extremely outdated and the floors, curtains were stained. Both chairs in the room were stained. The rooms also had an odd smell. Bathrooms looked like they were from the 1980s. Something needs to be done at least about the VERY used furniture in the rooms. The place overall just felt uncomfortable.

I think if a bigger person was to stay the toilet seating would have been a challenge. the hot water in the sink took sometime to come through, we run out of time for a shower but if it did take the same time that might be annoying, place was quiet and the bed was very comfortable we slept very well. thank you for the room.

Spa wasn’t working. Pool wasn’t heated. Bed was uncomfortable

Great stay

Family room was very nice, bathroom was very nice and clean. My son liked the 2nd room had a TV as well.

While I only stayed one night I would happily stay there again. Reception staff very pleasant and friendly. The complimentary WIFI was excellent. Appreciated the added security provided by gates which are closed at night. Room was clean and extra pillows available.
