Ceduna Foreshore Hotel Motel

Great location on the foreshore and close to everything.

The location was great.

The worn-out carpet. There were no exit signs, no evacuation plan near the external doors of the hotel. A exit passage way that lead to where they were doing maintenance and no exit from the hotel.

It was right on the foreshore, lovely sunsets

Cleaners were quite noisy in the mornings 6.30am onwards, especially in the alleyway between units - making it difficult lay-in

Attached bar and restaurant. The staff were lovely and the food good. Happy hour drinks were very well priced. Position opposite the pier although we did not feel safe to walk at night.

Where do I start? The bathroom felt like I was showering at the local sporting facility. The bathroom sink was located in the kitchen area which I found unhygienic. The electronic keys didn’t open the secure gated parking gate and I had to get the key replaced. The key then Did not open the room door. Again I had to go back to reception and get a replacement key. This key worked once then only operated the back door from the service alley. It never again opened the front door. The front door would not stay open making it difficult to unload the car without it slamming shut. There was no way to prop it open except with our own bags. The barman overcharged for drinks during happy hour, charging for 3 drinks instead of 2. Luckily the bar manager sorted this quickly. There was a funky smell in the bathroom that was coming from significant amounts of mould on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom. The secure parking did not feel at all secure with several gates on the property appearing to be left open. Our fuel filler cap was open in the morning. We did not leave it this way.
