Comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok for continental.

Everything in the room was unplugged AC/ heat, fridge, clock, coffee maker. Plugged in the AC and still didn’t work, so opened windows to cool the room. Plugged in fridge but of course had to wait quite a while for it to cool down.

A little dated. If you have issues with cats, they have 5 living on the premises. Had a hot water issue one night but got it fixed in a timely manner.

Very comfortable beds but the pillows were too hard. Plenty of convenient parking. It was nice to have a laundry available. Loved the lobby cats but if you have allergies, better find another place to stay

"Amazing recovery spot for an injured hiker"

Had a lovely 2 night stay after breaking my wrist in Baxter State Park. The 2 ladies that work at the front desk were super helpful, the room was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was much appreciated.

"Excellent!!!!! We'll be back!!!!"

10.0

Truly, a wonderful surprise. Having not been to Millinocket, Maine before, expectations were out the window. Located a close distance to the park, (about a 20 minute ride), the Baxter Park Inn was referred via the Park Service Division at Baxter Park as their accommodations were full. At first glance, noticed was how neatly manicured the property was. Walking through the door we were met with the Owner, Tim Darling and his front desk specialist. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable about the area and very helpful, explaining the amenities offered for our stay. The room was perfect. Spotless as well as was the rest of the property. The hotel was "pet friendly" and all understood their responsibility to carry a "poop" bag for their dog. Oh, I can't forget to mention the hotel had washer/dryers for guests use. It was great for a long stay. The only slight would be breakfast, then again, people don't travel to the park to lounge around. The only protein was peanut butter. There was nothing available for allergy restrictive diets ie: gluten free.
