"Unaware of renovations"

Location to where we needed was good

Unfortunately, we made our reservation through a 3rd party website so we were unaware of renovations that were being done. We were told that it was clearly advertised on the Ramada website but because our reservation was made through Bookings, we didn’t know. We did not stay. The staff was nice even though we didn’t stay. They refunded a portion and we chose another hotel. We would have stayed but the ENTIRE hotel was being renovated and you could hear the noise and the smell so it was not a good choice for us.

The hotel was quiet. Did not eat breakfast.

The only ice and whatnot was on the 1st floor and it's a 4 story hotel. This was not convenient.

The location

It was under renovations and we only found out when we got there and had already paid for the stay, also there was a drink/ drugged man sleeping in the corridor one night which completely freaked me out
