It was near the Main Street of Katoomba where we had dinner and the Cliff top walk that we had done during the day.

- The reception smelt like smoke when we booked in. - TV was old and we just want to watch live on air and the channels didn’t work. - unusual location of the microwave in front of the main mirror. - the towels were like car shammies. - there was something wrong with the plumbing in the bathrooms in addition to mould on the tiles.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights (3 of us). When we arrived the gentleman at reception very kindly offered us rooms on the ground floor perhaps noting 2 guests were 60+. It was genuine and kind. Both rooms were spotless & very well insulated. It was cold outside - April in Katoomba! Parking was free and easy. Wi-fi worked easily. Everything we needed. It could be walking distance from CBD or Station. We chose to drive. Nearly forgot - treeview from room was private and attractive.

Needed a knife or scissors to open our Supermarket finds:-)
