"Fresh, clean and welcoming."

What a fantastic trip to Port Douglas! The Lazy Lizard was fresh and clean and had everything we wanted. Comfortable beds and pillows, a great kitchenette, bbq area and a tropical outdoor sitting area to enjoy our coffee and meals. The pool was a great way to spend time swimming and relaxing. Looking forward to coming back. Thanks Alex and Aidan.

"Perfect stay"

Fabulous place, great hosts. Lovely, comfortable room with a useable, equipped kitchen. Nice pool. Fine location. The owners are the best, making transfer reservations, and booking tours and just being so helpful and nice (even before we arrived).

"Pearl of a spot"

Really loved the darker towel for washing my makeup off. Such a simple thing that stood out. The bed was so comfy, the room was clean and very open, and the location was exactly what I needed.

"Cosy friendly place"

We really enjoyed Lazy Lizard during our 5 night stay. Room is spacious, bed is comfy. Nice to have a little kitchen to prepare your own food. Nice little outdoor place, pool area and parking close to room. Very friendly and helpful staff.can absolutely recommend this place

"Well worth it"

What a great place to stay. We arrived after reception had closed but by informing them beforehand there was no problem. Room was spacious, parking pretty much outside ( and under cover), everywhere is beautifully clean and it was very peaceful. Aidan was incredibly helpful with local information, maps, and suggestions. Suited us down to the ground.
