Modern Apartment in Darling Harbour

The Good. The Bad. The Ugly. The Good: new apartment in convenient location. The Bad: apartment was very poorly cleaned upon our arrival. Kitchen was woefully ill-stocked. Owner believes a single rusted out pot, no oven mitts or anything to take hot dishes out of the oven, burnt food crusted roasting pan, etc are what one should expect from a luxury rental. The Ugly: our rental contact’s first response when we raised these and other issues was “we’ll try to do better next time.” A few days later he literally walked in to the apartment unannounced unlocking the door himself. No knocking. No doorbell ringing. While not the owner’s fault, I should add thay we were woken up three times on two different nights in the middle of the night was what turned out to be a false alarm. The entire building was evacuated each time. Bottom Line: there are so many other properties to rent in Sydney. Avoid this one like the plague. Too bad. The apartment itself and location are nice. Just unbelievably poorly managed.

The room was like someone had lived in it and then left the property so we could use it. There were stains all over the lounge as well as the pillows. The bed had dirt through it like it had already been slept in previously. There was half used shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower. We were contacted at least 3 times asking when we were going to check out even though our booking was given an 11am check out. While we were there we had 2 fire evacuations which is fine however in the room the smoke alarms were covered by a small plastic bag which is highly illegal! Overall very disgusted at the cleanliness especially we were there with our 2 year old son. Would not recommended this property at all!

We booked the room ( 1 queen bed + 2 soft beds). However, it is only 1 queen + 1 soft bed. To be able to check in, we

This property misrepresented what it offered. It claimed to have two double sized convertible sofas and it only had one single sizes one that was merely an uncomfortable day bed. If you rent this place plan on only having a queen sized bed. Furthermore, the property refused refund the payment despite my complaining about the nature of the misrepresentation.

Studio apt, Very good Location. Expecting 2 sofa beds but only it has 1 sofa bed. Overall its good esp. for 3 people or less. Very good Location
