Apollo Bay Motel & Apartments

位置非常好，出门走1-2分钟就能直达Apollo Bay的海滩。 配套设施也很齐全，可以自己做饭。不过我们比较懒，路过Geelong的时候从Woolworth买了一只烤鸡跟其他吃的，这样晚餐跟第二天的早餐就都有了。 停车就在院内很方便，check in和check out都很便捷。

The location was excellent — within easy walking distance to everything we wanted in Apollo Bay. There is also a laundromat directly opposite, which was very convenient. For exploring the surrounding areas, you will need a car, but the convenience for town access was perfect. The rooms were well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The Pool Is a Big Lure/LIE – But It’s Not Actually Available The pool feels like a major selling point of this property, but unfortunately, it was not available during our stay. While the hotel advertises a beautiful central pool, spa, and garden area — and the photos make it look amazing — there is no clear notice upfront that the pool is out of order. The only mention of it being under repair appears buried in the fine print of the terms and conditions. Our booking was made six months in advance. Only a few weeks before arriving did we notice, buried in the terms and conditions, a mention of pool issues. This was never clearly communicated to us directly. When we contacted staff prior to our stay, we were told they were waiting on a warranty repair and that the pool would likely be fixed “any day now.” Based on that reassurance, we kept our booking. Staff also said they would happily allow us to cancel, but given it was so close to our booked dates and during a peak period, finding alternative accommodation at short notice would have been nearly impossible — so cancelling was not a realistic option. However, when we arrived, it was clear the pool was not operational and appeared to have been out of service for quite some time. The pool area was one of the main reasons we chose this property, so this was extremely disappointing. Given that this seems to have been a long-standing issue, we believe guests — especially those who booked many months in advance — should have been proactively informed directly, rather than discovering it in fine print shortly before arrival.
