The Brighton Hotel

The hotel smelt terrible a musty smell. Parking charged at £19 per day even for someone who had a blue disabily badge (this was another guest checking in as i was checking out). Scaffolding outside the front of the hotel. Would never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was just ok Staff ok Room ok The decor is very dated and rooms not very clean We could hear other guests clearly from the adjoining rooms

Paid cash on arrival and was also charged on my card was told money would be rufunded onto the card within 5 days never happened the people running the hotel are scammers wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Arrived a hotel covered in scaffolding booked a sea view room couldn’t see out the windows at all hotel is falling apart and looks awful from the outside and paint inside peeling off awful waste of money would definitely not recommend

Had an amazing holiday. Had the best sleepin a hotel ever as it was lovely & quiet. Was amazing view off the seafront. Would definitely come back.

Dirty and bathroom was filthy with painted tiles flaking. Dirty floor and Meldew all around the shower basin. Cracks around shower and shower not even in the middle so I could shower properly. Have complained about this room and I certainly will not be returning to this hotel ever again. Breakfast was poor and cold and very average for the price they were charging over Pride season. Was normally £67 a night charging 187 just for pride. Staff were rude/ towels were not fresh and It was my worst stay in brighton ever After going for over 25 years

It’s an average hotel. Good for a night stay. Rooms in basement are not updated

Came for a 50th birthday celebration hotel was on par for the weekend needed

The hotel was certainly not worth what I paid for it. A tiny, uncles room with a broken bed and as soon as I stepped into the shower, one of the parts broke. Asked for slippers as I didn’t feel comfortable walking on the floor bare foot as were told they didn’t have any. The hotel itself was very noisy and the slightest movement made noise. Unacceptable after paying over £300 for only one night! Made a complaint at the hotel, gave them my details for them to call me today and am yet to hear anything. When telling them our concerns, their response was that their cleaning team were great and they knew the hotel needed maintenance

Lovely hotel. Pet friendly. Begrudged paying parking at hotel but I suppose it was better than no parking or looking for parking elsewhere... £18 per day! Also I felt the daily fee for my small dog at £25 was £5 more than every other pet friendly hotels
