Where to begin. The attention and care that went into the design was stunning. It is truly unique. The history and the curation are exquisite. And the staff was very inviting and attentive.

Goldenstern Townhouse ist etwas ganz Besonderes, vier schmale Häuser aus dem Mittelalter interessant miteinander verwoben, viele verschiedene Treppen in verschiedene Richtungen, die zusammen mit der wunderbar erhaltenen bzw restaurierten Architektur an Hogwarts erinnern (keine Sorge, die Treppen ändern nicht ihre Richtung u. es gibt auch einen Aufzug). Man kann auf einem ausgedehnten Streifzug durch das Gebäude Interessantes entdecken, liebevolle Deko, versteckte Räume zum Lesen oder Träumen, alte Fresken und Vieles mehr. Erwähnt werden müssen an dieser Stelle die beiden reizenden Rezeptionistinnen, die immer ein offenes Ohr haben und aus ihrer verständlichen Liebe zum Townhouse kein Geheimnis machen. Das Frühstück ist ausgewogen u. lecker, es gibt Regionales, Frisches ... alles, was ein wirklich gutes Frühstück ausmacht - und auch das in stilvoller Umgebung. Wie der Name verrät, liegt das Goldenstern mitten in der Altstadt; der zu Geschäftszeiten geöffnete "Hinterausgang" durch eine Boutique führt unmittelbar zu den berühmten Lauben. Unbedingte Empfehlung für alle, die etwas Außergewöhnliches suchen!

It’s in the middle of Bolzano and easy to reach. The building has a unique vibe and was restored with lots of thought and taste. The room was super cosy. Breakfast was superb.
