Essaouira Beach Hostel

We had a great 3 night stay at Essaouira Beach Hostel! Located a couple of minutes from the beach and approximately 15mins to the Medina. There are large communal areas both on the roof and downstairs, kitchen, games, musical instruments and surfboard and wind surfing lessons and rentals. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming!! Only issue we had was that the Wi-Fi only worked down stairs but otherwise a great spot in Essaouira! We would stay again :)

Nicest hostel I stayed at in all of Morocco. The employees are awesome and you become friends with everyone staying here. Great place for travelers from all over. And it has one of the best views in all of Morocco. Also you can rent your surf boards and wetsuits here. I woke up every morning to grab some food the employees cooked and grab a surf board and hit the water. Also this place was inexpensive. Perfect spot. If your in essaouira go here!

The hostel has an amazing vibes! The guys are nice and they give you all the support you need. The hostel has also a great selection of rooms and a wonderful rooftop in front of the beach where you can see the sunset. Three minute walk to the Essaouira beach and 1 0 to the Medina, EBH is a perfect choice to enjoy of the peaceful mood of the city. They also arrange for you kitesurf, windsurf and surf lesson and also surf trip to Sidi Kaoki. Highly recommend!

We just spent one day in Essaouira and we decided to stay in the Essaouira Beach hostel. It was probably the best decision. The hostel is located just one minute from the beach. From the rooftop you can enjoy the view!!! Also the Medina of essaouira is just a 15 minutes walk away. The hostel is lovely and the stuff as well. The rooms were nice and clean. We had a really cool free couscous dinner, which was probably the best we’ve had in morocco. The variety breakfast buffet was also really nice. We probably would extend the stay, but unfortunately we had already another reservation. Definitely recommended! Keep up the nice work!

I really enjoyed staying at Essaouira Beach hostel . Chill and good vibes. A lot of activities and a special couscous party on Fridays(for free). I give a 10 to this place and will definitely came back. Thank you

I spent 3 nights at Essaouira Beach Hostel. It was a fantastic experience. The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful, and kind. The dorms were very clean and the cleaners made sure to clean them twice a day and on-demand. Don't let me get started about the 2 beautiful terraces. I spent the most beautiful evenings there watching the sea and the beautiful sunset. This fantastic hostel is also a great place to socialize and get to know other travelers from around the globe. Make sure to spend a Friday night there. There was free couscous and live Gnaoua performance. Everyone was chilling and dancing to the rhythm while enjoying their delicious meal. In the lobby, there were a lot of games like Chess, Poker, PlayStation, and more. So you could spend time playing with your friend, family, or other travelers. The hostel is also very close to a beautiful beach (around 2 minutes walking). You can spend your morning swimming there and get back to the hostel and take a hot and relaxing shower. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to chill, relax, make some great memories, and meet new people from every corner of the world.

One of the most relaxed, friendly and sociable hostels I’ve ever been to. It was the perfect place to relax as a solo traveller - I met countless lovely people, often on the roof terrace and restaurant area, or while playing music downstairs with the hostel’s varied selection of instruments. And it’s 30 seconds from the beach, which meant we visited a lot! The staff are so fun and welcoming. There’s always someone around to help out e.g. cutting up and applying fresh aloe vera when I entered ‘obscenely sunburnt brit’ mode There’s an alcohol shop down the adjoining road, but it was shut for most of our visit so we did the 20 minute walk (or 5-10Dh taxi) to Carrefour Market on the edge of town. There’s also a very nearby bar & live music / DJ spot called the Roof Bar. With some friends from this hostel, I eventually moved onto Tagazhout. There I thoroughly recommend the Dar Surf hostel for another wonderful & friendly spot at a similar price.
