Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Great location and very friendly staff.

Although we are dog lovers we found the dog friendly policy a bit too much as our four legged friends were welcomed everywhere including eating areas. Not everyone is comfortable sharing breakfast time with dogs. When sitting out enjoying lunch and a glass of wine in the lovely walled garden area we witnessed one dog urinating on the leg of the table next to us!!

The food was great and the room comfortable but no lift was a pain for people with luggage

Staff were so friendly, breakfast was amazing and beds were incredibly comfortable.

Food was amazing and although the room was small if was very nice.

The service from the staff out in the garden, we were 40mins to get out first drink this was after asking staff members twice. We then had to ask the chef to get someone to serve us. The bottle of champagne came in a cooler filled with water and no towel to dry off the bottle not what I'd expect for a £120 bottle, these are small issues and it did not spoil our night away for my wife's birthday.

The staff, surroundings, food, rooms and service were excellent.
