"Staff amazing room not good such a shame the room was a let down"

The member of staff on duty was amazing but the room let it all down mattress was very worn with dips and lumps shower didn't work and the room overall was very tired but clean Was told in the morning that if we would have said they would have upgraded us to a better room but we was only there for one night so dealt with it But also if they had a better room why wasn't we put in it to start with as the receptionist said they are having an upgrade to all rooms but the one we had hadn't been started Overall room was clean but very disappointed as was expensive compared to other local hotels
