The hosts Nino and his wife (the chef) are dedicated to make the stay unforgettable , with a delicious meal with so many courses, including a warm chocolate cake. The location is excellent for those who wish to be in a quiet country side surrounded by olive trees and cherries in the Etna region and close to the sea. The location is close to the town of Zafferano with restaurants and wonderful pastry shops. The rooms are simple but charming with beautiful antiques and we learned that the previous owner had an antique store and furnished the property.

There was nothing to dislike. The house has the charm of an old farmhouse.

The place is a romantic former villa with attentive stuff. Nino the owner was very welcoming and chatty.

Superb service from Nino and his wife. This old house and it's gardens is a rare treat. Very much a traditional farmstay with a fantastic finner and breakfast served in the great hall. An experience never to be forgotten.

The property is very old (1800s) and that comes with an inevitable sense of decay, but don't let that put you off because everything else is great.

Nino and Milena, the couple who run this place, are delightful. Nino takes care of things and Milena cooks and serves authentic Sicilian food, grown on the fertile volcanic soil, and she does so with a huge smile and obvious satisfaction. Our room was an old wine press with four metre high ceilings and thebed on a mezzanine level...it was like sleeping on the film set of an old Italian movie.

The place is full of authentic character...we were literally sleeping and eating in a converted barn. The old plaster walls and raw stone floors are completely authentic, but make the place slightly less suitable if you have young kids or are unsteady on your feet.

Echte sizilianische Gastfreundschaft. Milena und Nino haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt, ohne jemals aufdringlich zu sein. Man ist einfach herzlich willkommen. Nach einem Tag voller Besichtigungen kann man herrlich im Pool entspannen und sich auf das großartige Abendessen freuen. Wir haben uns einfach wohlgefühlt.

Nichts, über das man nicht hinwegsehen kann in Anbetracht der wunderbaren Atmosphäre und des guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnisses. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber die wichtigen Dinge ( Dusche, Matratze) völlig ok.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser charmanten Pension. Die Gastgeber Nino und Milena sind ausgesprochen herzlich und hilfsbereit – besonders hervorheben möchten wir die ausgesprochen sympathische und zuvorkommende Art von Nino sowie Milenas hervorragende Kochkünste. Das für die Gäste gegen Aufpreis angebotene, typisch sizilianische Abendessen mit mehreren Gängen und lokalem Rotwein war ein echtes Highlight. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem rund 250 Jahre alten ehemaligen Weingut mit großem Garten und Pool – rustikal und authentisch. Die Zimmer sind absolut sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und teilweise mit Antiquitäten dekoriert. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Lage etwas außerhalb des Zentrums erwies sich mit unserem Mietwagen als ideal, um den Ätna-Nationalpark und den Vulkanausbruch im August 2025 hautnah zu erleben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Auf Grund der äußerst kurzfristigen Buchung hatten wir leider nur ein recht kleines Zimmer ohne eigene Terrasse.

Charming, rustic. Not fancy but very nice. Dinner was excellent, way too much food! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Loved Garfield the cat, and the turkey and goose besties. Rooftop view of Etna and the sea was amazing.
