⸻ Nossa experiência no hotel foi simplesmente perfeita. Desde o momento da chegada, fomos extremamente bem atendidos — da recepção à equipe da cozinha, todos os funcionários foram muito educados, atenciosos e acolhedores. Sem dúvida, o atendimento foi um dos grandes pontos fortes da nossa estadia. O quarto era super espaçoso, tudo muito limpo e organizado. Apesar de o hotel oferecer apenas camas de solteiro nos quartos (as opções de cama de casal ficam nas cabanas), as camas eram extremamente confortáveis e proporcionaram noites de sono excelentes. A roupa de cama estava impecável, o banheiro muito bom e o chuveiro ótimo — tudo funcionando perfeitamente. As instalações do hotel são muito boas e a localização tornou a experiência ainda mais especial. Foi perfeito para observar as Northern Lights (Aurora Boreal). Há um lago congelado bem próximo onde podíamos ir procurar as luzes, e o melhor: voltar para o hotel para tomar uma bebida quente (disponível a noite toda) e sair novamente para observar o céu. Essa dinâmica deixou tudo ainda mais confortável e mágico. Foi uma experiência incrível, superou nossas expectativas. Amamos e voltaríamos com certeza!

De ruimtes die beschikbaar waren voor de gasten. Lekker relaxen in de lounge banken, spelletjes, koffie en thee. Goede vibe.

Saubere, warme, gepflegte Unterkunft, 40min von Rovaniemi entfernt. Dank des zugefrorenen Sees vorm Haus ist ein Blick auf die Nordlichter bei klarem Himmel nur 3min entfernt. An 4 von 5 Nächten konnten wir sie beobachten. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Speisesaal ist gleichzeitig das gemeinsame Wohnzimmer der Gäste, ausgestattet mit Fernsehern, Spielen und gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Frühstück (inbegriffen) und Abendessen (nicht inbegriffen) waren sehr gut. Die Suppen ausgezeichnet. Geboten wird im Haus und in der näheren Umgebung viel, von Schneemobilfahrten über Schneeschuhwandern bis hin zu Huskytouren. Warm, sauber, heimelig. Mehr als empfehlenswert.

We had an amazing stay at Palojärven Lomakeskus. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a couple. The highlight was definitely the private sauna inside the cabin, such a special experience after a cold day out. The staff also came over to show how to work the sauna at a short notice! The cabin also had a fully functioning kitchen with all the appliances we needed, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. And the best part: because it’s far from the city lights of Rovaniemi, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from our stay. Truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

First of all, this is a family-owned and run business. The hosts are very nice and friendly, which made us feel welcome and comfortable. We arrived late, around 11PM and the host left the keys out for us, but in the end waited for us. We stayed in a room in the main house - btw the main house has a big lobby where you have different activities you can do here - puzzles, a VR set etc. The room was clean and warm. The hot water runs non-stop, so if you are out late, no worries. Breakfast is good and fresh. You can see the aurora very well from here; you have the frozen lake with a lot of open space. I saw a comment mentioning the high price of the sauna service - I tried it and trust me it was over expectations. You have a hot tube outside the house, a path to the frozen lake for a dip and in the house you have a living room with snacks, water, towels, bathrobes, shoes etc, then you have a space in which you can have a shower and then you have the sauna room. The hosts also organise snowmobile trips/tours. Didn't have time to go on one, but it's good to know. All in all, we have only good things to say and are thinking when to go back again:).
